As a Board of Education trustee I will continue to support initiatives and programs that optimize the educational experience for all students to reach their maximum learning and growth potential.

I am supportive of many aspects of our current Strategic Plan in Hawthorne, especially the following FOUR points.

1 . To increase staff awareness of student mental health strategies and implement social emotional leaning.

2. Create learning opportunities that promote individualized educational experiences by incorporating student input.

3. Increase awareness or and preparation for career options (K-12) including college, vocational, skills labor and trades and military options.

4. Continuously integrate innovative technology to enhance teaching and learning for students at all levels within our district.
